Mario Beddochi, Reggio Emilia, 1925

Originally a carpenter, Beddochi turned to violin making and studied with the Venetian maker Ettore Siega.

This wood selection for this violin is exceptional, with a beautifully flamed one-piece back.  It comes from a collector and is in an excellent state of preservation.
